On 03.04.24 the Auxiliary Bishop of Vienna, Dr Franz Scharl, visited our school. He was accompanied by FI Mag. Irene Pfleger and Father Stanislaw Leszczynski SCJ. He was greeted at the school gate by children from 2cc with a self-composed text. After a short reception in the head office by headmistress Gabriele Prokop MEd, he went to the 4cc, where the children from many religious classes had already gathered. We had a very cordial meeting with the Auxiliary Bishop on the topic: Everything has its time. We were all fascinated by his open and engaging manner. He patiently answered many questions, blessed our newly designed class crosses and said goodbye to many children with a personal blessing in their mother tongues. As a small surprise, the children presented him with a soup cookery book!

During the subsequent discussion in the head office, current problems in the field of education were discussed. Auxiliary Bishop Scharl proved to be very well informed and very interested in our concerns. Thank you, Mr Auxiliary Bishop, for your visit!
