A Night at the Opera

On February 21st, 2020, the 4C joined classes from all over Vienna for a special performance of Mozart’s „Magic Flute“ at the Vienna State Opera. Many students dressed up for the occasion.

After dropping off our coats, we entered the main auditorium through a stage door.

Once we had taken our seats, there was quite some time to kill before the performance got underway.

Soon, though, the lights went out and the Vienna Philharmonic began to serenade us.

The lighting technicians gave us a demonstration of their skill as well:

The performance itself was spectacular, both musically and visually.

And the students were very impressed!

It was a night that no one will forget. Well, almost no one.
